{Scrappy Goodness} FabYouLous

I know I already said this but I LOVE the  Simple Stories So Fancy Line.  I have been a crafting machine with it.    I know you haven't seen all of my projects yet using the kit I received from  FotoBella this month, h.owever I created 5 layouts, 2 tags, 1 altered item and a mini book with it.  I still have plenty to create a couple of project life layouts as well.

In case you haven't noticed, (winking and smiling) I use a lot of 3x4 photos.  I love that size for so many reasons.  One, it let's me get more photos on my page when I want. Two, I can print two pictures to a sheet using my Selphy and which saves me paper and money. :)

I took these pictures of my youngest while I was trying to entertain her during my oldest daughter's horse lesson.  Sometimes if I pull the camera out and make them pose and be silly for me it will give me a couple more minutes of good behavior while we wait.  Anything to keep them entertained, right?

{Scrappy Goodness} Hello Sunshine

I don't know about you but this has been a rough week at work and I'm in looking forward to the weekend!  So let's kick it off with a fun new sketch for ScrapMuch?.  For some reason, I had a mental block to this sketch.  Once I worked through it however, I loved it!

I used pictures of my sweet baby girl, Jaleesa playing on a train at the park.  My family as a slight obsession with trains.  It started long before I was born with my uncle and dad.  They have passed it on to my sister and I.  And now, I am having the privilege of passing this love onto my girls.

Here is my take on the sketch:

{Scrappy Goodness} Love

Happy Friday!  Today is a new sketch reveal day over at ScrapMuch?.  Love these Fridays!

This week I did a layout featuring my youngest, Jaleesa.  I loved how the light was coming in the window as she was playing on the kitchen floor next to me as I worked.  She was just so content to play right there with the animal puzzle as it made all the sounds while she played.

So moving on, let's take a look at my take on the sketch. Yes, I still need to journal in that block.

{Scrappy Goodness} Cutie Pie

Happy day to everyone!  Thank you for stopping by today.  I'm sharing a layout I did for the FotoBella DT.  I used the Echo Park We are Family Collection Kit.  I really love the colors in this line!  They are so fun and cheery and easy to work with.

I fell in love with these worlds with the hearts on them.  I was determined to get every world embellishment or paper on this layout.  I think I'm only one 3x4 card short.  I just felt like this picture of my youngest was so much fun and worked so well with this theme.  She really balances out our family and I love her for that.

{Scrappy Goodness} Sweet Dreams

It's that time again to share a layout I did for the FotoBella DT.  I am continuing my journey today using the Bo Bunny Enchanted Garden Collection.

I did this layout of Jaleesa as a baby.  She was just a few months old.  She used to sleep on her hands like that all the time.  I miss my babies when they were that small and cuddly.  I just had to add some doilies with this paper line.  It is a really beautiful, bold color line.

{Scrappy Goodness}Smile

Happy Friday the 13th!  First let me say, I'm sorry for being MIA.  My mom came to visit for three weeks and it was a jam packed three weeks.  I missed her before she even left.  Being on opposite coasts is really hard sometimes.  I once again apologize for not posting, as Jaleesa would say not nice!  Speaking of the cutest 2 year old in the whole wide world in my opinion.  Today features by little bug.  She is growing so fast.  I love it and highly dislike it all at the same time.

Ok, on with it... Today is reveal day at ScrapMuch?  One of my favorite days, since I love sketches.  I must say that Laura as another outstanding sketch for us this week.

Here is my take on the sketch.  I used Echo Park's Life is Beautiful papers.  The scalloped circle is from an old chipboard set from CTMH.  I used a Tim Holtz distress inker and then spritzed the top with white Heidi Swap mister.  I then added a few other random embellishments that I could not tell you for the life of me where they came from.

{Scrappy Goodness}Hello Story Week 3

I am now only 2 weeks behind on Hello Story, however I'm good with that.  Week 3 was about telling stories of direction.  I'm not sure that I really accomplished that, but I love this layout about Jaleesa.  It is one that as been in the back of my head for a little while now.  So, I'm calling it good for now.  Every week so far I have several layouts that I want to complete.  I usually always carry a notebook with ideas for layouts and sketching.  I do this while I'm waiting some where or on the metro, etc.  It is getting taken over right now with Hello Story ideas.

Ok, so enough of my ramblings; on with my layout.  I used my kit this month from FotoBella.com.  It included the We R Memory Keepers Jet Set bundle, Mettallic 12x12 paper pad and Sheer Metallic Albums made easy set.  I also used some sequences and letter stickers from my stash.

I just love this picture of Jaleesa.  This is so her; she is all energy, smiles, brightness and love the majority of the time.

The journaling on my tag reads: "We had a little bit of a rough start.  But, you kept shining as if to say look at me.  I'm so glad you did! You make everyone smile and shine brighter around you.  So keep shining Love Bug!  Shine on and on..."

{Scrappy Goodness} Hiii

Hello Today I'm here sharing my layout I created for FotoBella's sketch challenge.  I used the Bo Bunny I want it all Our Lil' Monster's bundle.

I decided to use this picture of Jaleesa for this layout.  The picture is a little blurry, but it is capturing her the face she makes so perfectly when she says hi.  She almost screams it at you with a big smile and draws it out.  It is so cute and fun.

The sketch this month is a lot of fun to work with.  I kept mine pretty simple as always.  I love the bright colors of this paper collection, so much fun. And they are completely out of my norm, which was fun.

{Family Goodness} My Valentine Girls

I can't believe it has taken me so long to get this posted but such is life.  I had created a small Valentine's themed photo shoot for my daughter's the other day.  They couldn't go to school that Friday because it was cancelled due to snow.  What a better way to keep them entertained other than doing a photo shoot.

I do this all the time with them.  Dress them up in matching or similar outfits throw a white sheet over the back of the couch and make them pose.  They love it and so do I.  It also creates a bunch of laughter and free entertainment.

So for this shoot, I decided to change it up a bit.  I hung up a lavender sheet and some red hearts.  As you can see when you look at the pictures I hung them  a little high.  Next time I will have to keep that in mind.  I took over a hundred pictures in less then an hour.  These are just a few of my favorites from that day.

{Scrappy Goodness} Love

Hello and Welcome!  Today I wanted to share a layout I created for the Scrap Our Stash Challenge #12.  The challenge was to use the sketch, heart patterned paper, prepackaged hearts and arrows.  I also am entering this layout into Kelly's February color challenge, Rochelle's Tic Tac Toe board (diagonal-one word title, heart, lined paper) and Kristi B Word inspiration challenge (love).

I don't know how I managed to combine all of these challenges into one layout but I did and it was a lot of fun seeing if I could get all these challenges into one layout.

So on with my layout.  I did this layout about my daughter's.  I happen to catch them in a moment when they were sitting nicely together, sharing and creating Valentine's cards.  They actually usually play pretty well together but this day they were being sisters and pestering one another.  I went downstairs to do a load of laundry and came back upstairs to see that my husband had sat them both down and told them to color for a little while.

{Scrappy Goodness} Amazing and Awesome

Hello!  Today I want to share with you another layout I did using the Basic Grey RSVP I want it all bundle from FotoBella.  In case my other posts haven't made it clear :) I love this Basic Grey line.  I have created 5 layouts, a card and a tag with this bundle and still have enough to make more!

I did this quick layout of my little girl, Jaleesa.  This picture is one of the first that I took when she started really smiling for me.  She was just a couple months old.  Oh, how I love the cuddle baby stage!

This layout is really simple to recreate.  I stared with trimming my photo done to 4x4.  Then I cut the yellow paper at 6x6 and the green polka dot at 6.5x6.5.  Layered them all on top of one another and then embellished until I was happy with the look.
