{Scrappy Goodness} Summer Hello Card

Hello Today I wanted to share with you a card I made using  Carta Bella Kit Soak Up the Sun, from FotoBella. I love these Bendi Fold cards.  They are super cute and turn into a little 3D item that people can then display if they want.  They fold flat for mailing which is nice though.  There are so many possibilities for these cards my mind gets overwhelmed with ideas. :)

{Scrappy Goodness}Halloween Cards

Hello!  Today I wanted to share with you two cards that I created using my FotoBella bundle. As you have seen with some previous posts I used the MME Frightful bundle.

I created these two cards with my bundle.  They are super simple, but playful.  I pulled all the coordinating embellishments that matched the paper.  I used the side with the coordinating item for the interior of the card.  For example, I for the chandeliers I used the chandelier paper and folded it so that the chandeliers would be on the inside.  I added a solid color paper to the inside of each card so you can add a note to whoever you are sending it too.

{Scrappy Goodness}Thinking of you card

Hello.  Today I wanted to share a quick card I created using the Enchanted Garden collection for FotoBella DT.  I decided to put my cricket to good use and cut the thinking of you sentiment out for the front of the card.  This card was really simple to make.  I love the idea of the tri-fold design and wanted to incorporate that into this card.  The finished size is roughly 4x6.

{Scrappy Goodness} Chalk Studio 2 Cards

Thanks for stopping by today.  I wanted to share with you two cards that I did for the FotoBella DT.  I used the My Mine's Eye Chalk Studio 2 bundle.

I started with the Garden Sheet of paper.  I loved the idea of the chalk side being on the inside of the card in order to have a place to write a note.  I love the those big flowers in either corner.

For the rest of the cards I used all the leftovers from my other layouts to create.  Each card is 5x5 in size.  The decorative tags are great for creating cards.  They have several great options for creating cards.

{Scrappy Goodness} Hello Trouble

I was attempting to clean up my scrap area this weekend some and I found this card underneath some supplies.  I had forgotten created it a couple of weeks ago.  That's what happens when you scrap area is in desperate need of cleaning.

For this card I used the Bo Bunny Lil' Monster bundle for the  FotoBella DT.  I just loved those monsters, they are too cute.  What is the other awesome thing about this layout you ask?  It is made completely of leftovers from my other layouts.  Love when I can use up leftovers. Again, I took a couple of extra minutes to create an area on the inside of the card to write something.

{Scrappy Goodness} Happy Birthday Card

Hello!  Today I wanted to share with you a birthday card.  I created a this card using the FotoBella We R Memory Keepers Hip Hip Hooray I want it all bundle.

I kept it pretty simple, however I actually love how it turned out. Lately, I have seen a lot of people not only creating the outside of the card but creating the inside as well.  I love the idea of not forgetting the inside also. So, with that let's take a look at my card.

{Scrappy Goodness} Hello Card

It's Tuesday!  You know what that means?  It is time for another reveal at Use It Tuesday.  This week our challenge is to use creatures.  Anything sort of creature you want.

I decided to keep it simple this week and create a card.  I don't usually do a lot of cards but I just thought this little squirrel creature was cute.  Which is even more abnormal for me because I don't like squirrels.  This week I used up some of my Basic Grey stash.  Remember when Basic Grey was single sided paper?  This is from that era.  I have all these items for at least four years now.  So thank you Use It Tuesday for helping me use up that stash!

Make sure you hop on over to the blog and check out what the other DT members have in store for you this weekend.  They will give you all sorts of fun inspiration!

{Scrappy Goodness} Wave Hello

Hello!  Today I wanted to share with you a card I made with Bo Bunny's Key Lime Line.  When I saw the wave hello on the back side of the wipe out page, I knew I wanted to use it for a card.  I loved the idea of mixing in the surfboard elements to play along with the theme.  I layered some of the journaling cards on the bottom first.  Then I used foam squares to pop up the wave hello and the surfboards on the left.  In the noteworthy pack was a little the wave card so I added it to the top to go with the theme and give some more dimension.  I then added a few jewels and you have a quick and easy card.

I also wanted to do a little something on the inside of the card.  I took one of the noteworthy elements and added it to the inside.  It provides a little space for a message and brings the wave theme to the inside of the card as well.

Thanks for looking!

{Card Goodness} Sweet on You

Do you want to know a secret?  I'm not really a card maker.  Yep, it is true.  I have been scrapbooking for years but don't do a lot of cards.  Just not really my forte.  However, I have found a new little trick that I will share with you today.  You know those nice little journaling cards that most manufactures are now coming out?  They don't have to be just journaling cards.  They can also be used to create, fast, simple cute cards.

For this card I used a journaling card from My Mind's Eye Kate & Co line.  I then pulled together scraps I had leftover from my other layouts with this line and started layering my card.

For the sentiment I used a chipboard accent from the large 12x12 chipboard stickers.  Then added some enamel dots because I have now decided nothing is complete with out enamel dots. And there you go a quick, easy fun card to give to a loved one.

Hi card

I am on a card kick again.  I am starting to really enjoy making them.  I think because it lets me be crafty when I don't have a lot of time to do something else.  I hope you enjoy!

Happy Birthday

Keeping it short and simple today.  I created this little Happy Birthday card from my scrap bin.  Slowly, ideas are starting to come to me for cards.  I think LOs will always be my first love but it is nice to create something fast and simple for a change.

Enjoy!
