{Scrappy Goodness} Soak up the Sun

Welcome!  I'm here to share a layout I did with the Carta Bella Kit Soak Up the Sun, from FotoBella.  I love these colors!  I am also excited that my daughters bathing suit this year worked brilliantly with the paper.

I took these photos while we were at the spray park on one of the first really warm days this summer.  I just love that she will ham for the camera.  I never have to ask twice!  She makes capturing her so easy.

I thought this swimsuit paper was so cute.  It works perfectly for summer.

{Scrappy Goodness} Snapshots of Summer

Hi there!  I hope you are having a great summer.  I'm here to share a layout I did with the Carta Bella Kit Soak Up the Sun, from FotoBella.

I know these aren't true ice cream photos but it was a little one on one time I was having with my oldest.  She doesn't get that has often anymore.  I took her to Starbucks for a chocolate milk and mom some coffee.  She thinks it is a fun treat to go.  I wanted to document our little outing.

{Scrappy Goodness} It's a great day today

Hello!  Today I wanted to share a layout I did using the Carta Bella Kit Soak Up the Sun, I received from FotoBella this month.  I have to say it is a fantastic summer kit.  The colors are a little more muted.  I love that they paired it with ivory instead of white which softens it even more.

When I saw the hot air balloons, I just fell in love with them.  I don't know why but I have always loved hot air balloons.  I just love the way they add color to hues of blue and white in our sky.

{Scrappy Goodness}Scrapbooking Wallet Mini

Welcome!  Today I wanted to share a scrapbooking wallet that I created using the Basic Grey Prism Bundle from FotoBella.

I started with this YouTube video.  I modified it slightly so that it would fit my accordion album that is finished 4x6 in size.  I started with a piece of 8.5x11 paper and cut it down to be 10 3/8"x 7".  I then scored at 2 1/2", 2 5/8", 6 3/4" and 6 7/8".  I then rounded my corners and folded.

Once I had my base, I started adding patterned paper where I wanted.  For the hinged sides I cut a piece of paper that was 4"x4" and scored every 1/2" to create the hinge.  I glued on either side and then carefully glued it all closed.

From there I created my accordion album. I wanted the finished size to be 4x6.  Once I cut and scored enough pages to be the finished size I wanted, I started adding paper and embellishing.

There is room for 7 larger photos and several tags.  I hope you enjoyed and will decide to make one of your own.  They make super easy, quick and fun gifts.

{Scrappy Goodness} Memories

Hello, Today I'm sharing a layout I did using the Basic Grey Prism Bundle from FotoBella.  I found this picture when I was going through some old photos of my mom's.  I just love this photo.  I love that it shows my sister and I with my mom.  I love that it shows us doing something that I now love to do with my girls.  I love that it shows the 80's.  The colors of this line are perfect for these older photos.  So much fun!

{Scrappy Goodness} Artisan Style

Hello.  Today I wanted share a double layout I created this week.  I haven't added any pictures yet.  I actually I like doing this every now and then.  I have an idea of the pictures I want to use but they are older so I have to find them.

I used the Graphic 45 Artisan Style Bundle from FotoBella.  I love these colors.  They are so much better in person than you see online.  I can't wait to get my photos on the page.

{Scrappy Goodness} Artisan Style Mini Album

Today I'm sharing a quick mini album I put together.  I used the Graphic 45 Artisan Style Bundle from FotoBella. There are several great tutorials on you tube for making mini albums.  I used this one for my basic hinge design and modified as I wanted.

{Scrappy Goodness} Monogram Letter

Happy Day to each of you.  Today I wanted to share a quick tutorial of how to create fun monogram letters.  I created this one for my mother-in-law using the Graphic 45 Artisan Style Bundle.  It is really easy.

I started with a plain wood letter. I selected a B but you could do anything.  I then painted the back side black.

I then traced the letter onto the paper I wanted to use.
Then cut the paper out and attached it to the front side of the letter.  I then added some paint around the edges to finish it off a little.

Then selected some of the embellishments from the line to create clusters on opposite sides.

I then added a few dangling beads and bling to finish it off.

Overall finished product.

Hope you enjoyed.

{Scrappy Goodness} Lovable Girl

It's Friday and that means another great reveal for ScrapMuch? sketches.

I snapped this picture of my youngest being silly one day.  She happened to be from head to toe in purple. So I knew exactly which papers I was going to use when I went to scrap this photo.

Make sure you stop by the blog to see what the other DT members have done this week.
