{Blog Hop Goodness} December Daily Blog Hop 2

Hello Scrappy Friends!  Welcome our first Friday December Daily Blog Hop.  We are so excited to share with you are fun December Daily Projects this month.

If you came here from Angie's blog at Living a Crafty Life you are in the right place.  If you didn't come from Angie's blog you can start at the beginning of the hop here.  There is a list of the hop order at the bottom of this post if you loose your way.

Well, I feel like my pages are coming together slowly but surely.  I was determined to get the main date pages done for this weeks post.  I almost got there.  I have the date pages for Dec5th-11th done, which I decided was good!  If you missed last weeks post you can see it here.  I also started a hand page drawing layout of how I wanted each day to be, which I decided was a huge accomplishment as well.

On with my pages for this week...

As you can see, each main date page is a little different.  It just depended what I had for that day and what look I was going for with the spread.  My goal this weekend is to get everything printed and start getting them into the album.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Your next stop on the hop will be Crystal at Capture the Moment.

Also, you can link up your own projects below.  I would love to see how you are documenting the season.

Have an amazing day! Jessica

{Scrappy Goodness} Picture Frame

Happy Monday Everyone!  I'm very sorry to be MIA for the past week.  I was moving and sick at the same time.  I just didn't make it to the blog last week.  I'm still unpacking and finding stuff.  It is an on going long process, for sure.

However, I wanted to take a moment and share a picture frame I made recently.  I used Bo Bunny's C' est La Vie line.  It is such a beautiful line.  I wanted to create this quick picture frame as a present.  I love making these frames because they are something you can usually whip up quickly for presents.  The colors in this line are absolutely fabulous.  I used one sheet of paper and the 12x12 chipboard sheet to create this.  Along with some pearls I had in my stash.

I painted the picture frame with paint I had.  Once, I cut my paper down to the size of my frame I used mod podge to glue it all down.  I then just started layering the chipboard pieces until I got the look I wanted.  I also added glitter around the inside edge for extra bling factor. I then cut down the backside of some of the paper that was left over to add the Follow your Heart to the opening of the frame.

Let's take  a look at the overall:

And a few close-ups of the finished product...

Thank you for stopping my today!

Have a beautiful day! Smiles, Jessica

June Gratitude

(found via pinterest.com)

...do yourself a favor - write as if your story was the last to be told, the most important...be yourself, be vulnerable and real...

These are a few words that Jenny from Learn with Jenny wrote to be a couple months ago after I sent her an email thanking her for the inspiration she provides on her blog.  What Jenny doesn't realize is these words were the ones that made be leap of my comfort zone and say I am going to be brave and put myself out there.

Learn with Jenny is one of my favorite blogs.  It always seems to hit home with me on the days I really need it most.  You will probably see me referencing her blog more than a few times.  Each month she hosts a link up party talking about what she is thankful that month.  I am going to attempt to join in every month.  This month I actually want to tell her that I am thankful for her.

She seems like one of those people that if I were to meet her at a party we would instantly become life long friends. Once again thank you for your words!

Have a beautiful day! Smiles, Jessica
