First things first. You should have come here from Angie's blog at Living a Crafty Life. If you didn't come from Angie's blog you can start at the beginning of the hop here. There is a list of the hop order at the bottom of this post if you loose your way. And I am once again linking up to Ali Edward's Blog to share in the fun with her.
This week I have a couple of things done. I decided over the weekend to completely change the way I was tackling my book and do more of a fun holiday events book. I think it fits my lifestyle so much better. I'm hoping it will make more sense when I'm done with my book. As I was working on my book one evening I started feeling overwhelmed by it. Since that is clearly not the point, I decided to change direction. I had remembered I read these posts last year and remember thinking what a great idea. I went back and reread them and felt inspired to keep creating.
Here is the first spread I completed. I have to add a journaling card to the upper right corner about this event. Every year we go to a Holiday Boat Parade. The owners of the boats light up their boats with Christmas lights. There are always a few different things. This year our favorite was the shark boat.
Jalyn's dance class had a parent preview day. We got to go into the class room and see how they are progressing and what they are learning. It was fun to see her little personality in the class. I have to add the journaling to the lower left hand corner.
This picture is from Christmas Eve morning. My girls decided they would like to get up at 6:30am. We went downstairs and I turned a movie on the iPad for them to watch. They cuddled up under the Christmas tree together and watched while I got some work done. Love them together!
That is all for this week. See you again next week. Thank you for hopping along with us. Your next stop on the hop will be Crystal at Capture the Moment.
Also, you can link up your own projects below. I would love to see how you are documenting the season.
