Jalyn 5 months and counting...

I wanted to take a couple of minutes to post some recent pictures of Jalyn. Not a lot has been going on. I am currently working on a scrapbook for my Grandpa's 80th birthday. It is taking me a little longer than I thought, but so far I am happy with the way it is turning out. I will post pics once it is done.

Jalyn had her 5mon check up last week. At her 4mon check up the doctor was concerned about her weight gain because she had fallen off the charts. We started her on a special formula for preemies in order to hopefully help her gain weight. They don't make it in soy formula so we are currently having to combine it with her normal soy. Her little stomach just couldn't handle that much milk product. The good news is the special formula seems to be helping. She is back on the charts now. Barely, but we are there! Of course, she is in the 80% for length at 27 inches long. She has grown out of all her 0-3 months clothing within the last couple of weeks.

Some about what she is doing now...

1. She is now rolling all over the place. She loves to roll and will even try to roll around in your arms if you are holding her. I keep trying to get a video of this but every time I get the video out she stops and just stares at me.

2. She is very vocal. She "talks" up a storm all the time.

3. She has found her feet! They are in her mouth a lot.

4. She is drooling everywhere. I think a tooth might be coming soon.

5. She smiles a lot, however when you pull the camera out she tends to just stop and stare.

6. She is just like her dad and chews on her tongue.

I am sure there is more but that is all I can think of right now.
