Jalyn is 7 months old today! Jalyn makes us laugh so much! She is sitting up all the time now. She is pushing herself up on her feet in a pike position. I haven't been able to capture it on camera yet, but never fear I will! Lately teeth are the big deal in our house. She has two teeth in the front on the bottom. Though you could tell the teeth were hurting her she still stayed pretty happy through the whole thing.
She is also eating baby food now. So far she loves carrots and squash. She hates sweet potatoes. John and I are wondering if she is really ours because she loves squash. We both hate squash. She is also starting to hold her own bottle a little. She goes through phases. Sometimes she wants to do it herself and other times she wants you to hold it for her.
We can't believe how big she is getting! I have stopped buying her pjs with the feet in them because she grows out of the too fast. Do you know how hard it is to find pjs without the feet in them? I am always on the hunt for them. My mom is even searching for them.
<>n>In August, Jalyn and I ventured to Indiana for my Grandpa's 80th birthday. She did awesome on the plane. The only drawback to flying with her is she wants to see out the window and I hate sitting next to the window. My Grandpa was able to meet Jalyn for the first time. It was really great to see her interact with him.
Last week John and I had are 4year anniversary. We both forget! It wasn't until later in the day that we both realized it. We ended up going to dinner that evening. It wasn't anything special but it was nice to get out of the house. My mom did remember though. Every year she sends us a gift associated with the traditional wedding gifts. This year it was fruit and flowers, so she sent Harry and David Pears. Let me tell you they were fabulous! I think we better plan something crazy for next year to make up for this year.

She is such a cutie! And she is getting SO big! We have the same problem with the PJ's and the feet! We get all of our at Target...you should try looking there. P.S. Happy Anniversary!
