A Trip to Indy!

Hello Everyone! I am way behind in blogging this Holiday season. I have been lucky enough to have a baby that has slept through the night since she was 10 weeks old! However, the past couple of weeks she thought it would be a good idea to change that. She now gets up twice a night and her momma is getting her butt kicked by it! By the time she goes to bed at night I am wiped out and crash right along with her.

Anyways, this is the first half of our Thanksgiving week trip. I will post a second for Thanksgiving. We flew into Indianapolis the weekend before Thanksgiving and spent a couple days with friends there. Once again Jalyn did great with flying! All the airplane staff just loved her.

I temporally lost my brain on Saturday and Sunday because I didn't take one picture the whole weekend! Which is so not like me, John usually gets irritated with all the pictures I take. Luckily, other people did and sent me a few.

On Saturday, our friends the Ruschhaupts took pity on us and let us crash at their house on Saturday night. It was fun getting to see them and their two boys. John and I use to babysit for them when we still lived in Indy so it was fun to see how big they had gotten. It was great to visit with them and have some down time! I also got to help Diana with some of her crafty things she needed done and pick out new ceiling lights for her kitchen!

Saturday evening we went over and had dinner with the Tschida family and Christian family. We all got to meet each other’s babies for the first time and catch up. You can see pictures on the Tschida family blog here. After dinner, John, Andy and Jeremy went to BW3’s to watch a UFC fight. John said they had a good time and it was nice to hang out.

On Sunday, we headed over to see RD, Jill and Kylie Reid. The guys watched football, the ladies chit chatted and the kids played. It was a great day of relaxing and hanging out with great friends! I love spending time with friends who feel like family. We really miss hanging out with them! You can see what is going on with them here.

I want to take a minute and plug Jill’s new business venture. She has started her own photography business, Raindancer Studios. Next time I will be planning better so she can take pictures of John, Jalyn and I. She does a great job and I love checking out her gallery to see what is new.

On Monday, Priscilla picked us up and we headed to South Carolina for Thanksgiving! As always it was a fun trip and Priscilla kept us laughing the whole way. Below are some pictures she snapped of Jalyn on the ride down there.
