First ER trip

I know I am so far behind on posting! When I started this blog I promised myself that the longest I would ever go between posts would be two weeks. I am not sure where the time has gone but it as been almost two months. There has been so much happen, I know I will not remember everything.

First, the exciting news is that Jalyn is walking all over the place. I have gotten a couple of videos of her walking but I have to figure out how to get them off my video camera. Because my ding dong butt left the video camera in a place where she could grab it. So of course it got dropped. I can't seem to get it to turn on so I am hoping my awesome electronic guru of a father will be able to fix it. It is unbelievable to think that two months ago she was taking her first few steps and now she wants to walk everywhere.

I am trying to sign her up for some swim lessons this summer. I love swimming and I am hoping that she will enjoy it as well. We will see how that goes. It is hard to find lessons that are on the weekend or evenings, since I have to work during the day. John said he will go and watch but will not get in the water with her. LOL

What else... Last month Jalyn got pneumonia. It was our first visit to the ER with her. She was running a 105 temp with a heart rate of 200 beats a minute! She was having a lot of trouble breathing, also. We got really lucky and didn't have to stay overnight but it definitely goes on the list of things I never want to repeat again. It took her a good week to get over it and she was a cuddly teddy bear while she was sick. Of course, I had to cuddle with her. What's a momma to do?

I leave you today with some new photos of our precious angel. Hope all is well and I promise not to wait so long in-between the next post. John and I have some exciting things happening soon. We don't have all the details worked out yet, but when we do it will be the first thing I post! So for those of you that do know keep those lips sealed! Until next time....

Daddy sad with Jalyn that we are in the ER!

She carries a blanket with her everywhere.
Sleeping next to her turtle. It lights up and projects stars on the ceiling. She sleeps with it every night. She will wake up in the middle of the night and turn it on.
