Discovering Sand

We took Jalyn to a park a couple weeks ago to play.  The ground was covered with sand under the playground equipment.  When we first went Jalyn didn't want to have anything to do with sand.  John sat her down in it and she just held her hands in the air.  I was so proud!  I didn't want anything to do with sand when I was a kid either. 

But, after John kept sticking her hands down in it and moving them all around, she warmed up to it.  She just kept picking it up and letting it run through her hands.  John said she was sitting how Curtis use to when he was playing on the floor.

She is a cheese monster for the camera as you can see.  I can't believe how big she is getting so fast!
