A trip to Indianapolis

This year for Thanksgiving we headed to Indianapolis to see some friends and my Grandpa Mahoney.

When we first got into town, I dropped my hubby and baby off at the Reid's house so that I could go have an adult only dinner with my awesome friend Angi.  We don't get to talk or spend time with one another very often, so I cherish the time we do get.  She is always an exceptional friend.

We spent Thanksgiving and Friday with our friends the Reid's.  It was wonderful to be able to sit and relax Thanksgiving day, have a fantastic meal, play games and just 'be' with them.  We love spending time with friends that have become family.

The turkey... RD made the turkey and it was delicious.
The boys playing Contra.  The ended up beating the game on hardest level.
The girls coloring..
and playing...

On Friday, we ventured out into the cold for a trip to the Children's Museum.  Jay loved it!  I'm sure we will have many trips to it in our future.

Jay not so sure about the carousal ride.
 Kylie love it!
Playing in the sand.  This was Jay's favorite part of the day.
 Our little family.
Jay talking on the barbie phone.

On Saturday, we went to see my Grandpa.  I love spending time with Grandpa.  He couldn't believe how big Jay had gotten.  We got to hear all about his new dog, Thanksgiving, the army, his days at GM and going getting his engineering degree.  He's a talker. *smile*

We also spent some time with some friends of John's from college.  It was fun to see everyone and their kids.  At first, Jay didn't want to have anything to do with all the chaos, but once she warmed up to everyone she was loving it.

The boys...
 The wives...
The kids...It took us a minute to get it, this was as good as it was getting.
xoxo
