Hello! Today I'm sharing a layout I did for Use It Tuesday blog. I just recently came across their blog. I can't remember how I got there, it was one of those afternoons when I was clicking on links from blog to blog. I spent some time reading back post and challenges. It will become one of my regular reads for sure. It has so much inspiration and fun challenges.
Currently, they are having a You can't Touch this challenge. It is a challenge to use something that you have been hoarding in that scrap stash of yours. This was definitely a hard challenge for me. I had these great pictures of my daughters at about the same age in the same outfit. I have been wanting to scrap them for a couple of months now. I also had some great Echo Park paper line that I was hoarding that would work perfect for this layout and challenge.
I used Echo Park's Little Girl line. It came out a couple of years ago. I have been holding on to it because I loved the papers so much I was a little scared to cut into them and mess up. Plus, I tend to hoard all Echo Park papers. I have A Walk in the Park and Life is Good that I have yet to use. I actually used some of the embellishments from A Walk in the Park for this layout. I also only had four more of the those green flowers left and I forced myself to use them because they were the perfect color.
I'm really happy with how this layout turned out. It is really simple yet perfect for the little story I wanted to tell about my girls. I also had a lot of fun participating in the Challenge. I will be linking up with Use it Tuesday's blog today.
Thanks for stopping by today.
Have a beautiful day! Smiles, Jessica
So cute Jessica. Love the little journal story.
ReplyDeleteYour babies are both adorable. I loved seeing my girls wear outfits that had been worn by their older siblings also. Great papers, to go with the photos. Glad we inspired you to use some of your stash. Thanks for sharing your work with us at Use It Tuesday.
