{Scrappy Goodness} Think Happy Thoughts Always

Today at the Memory Nest the hummingbirds have some amazing inspiration for you using the below sketch and color combination.

I have to say that I love the yellow in this combo!  There are so many amazing lines out there right now that have yellow in them.  It is such a fun, bright and summer color.

For my yellows I decided to use paper from the Fancy Pants line What a Wonderful day.  You can find it in the Memory Nest shop in this collection kit.  It really worked perfectly for this layout.

I decided to only scrap one photo for this layout of my daughter Jaleesa.  This is one of the first pictures I have of her just starting to hold her head up for the first time.  I really love how it turned out.  I think it is elegant but fun and playful at the same time.

I sewed the butterflies and circles onto the page alternating the brown shimmer and polka dot.

My new obsession are doilies.  They are showing up on just about every layout I do lately.  I love how it softens everything.
