{Scrappy Goodness} Hello My Love

It's Tuesday!  Do you know what that means?  You guessed it, another new challenge from Use It Tuesday!  This weeks challenge is to use two hoarded items.  I have to say that I almost had a heart attack during creating this layout for this weeks challenge.

I had this amazing picture of my youngest daughter Jaleesa.  I just love that little dress.  It is so fun and bright. See that amazingly cute flower paper at the bottom?  That is the paper that almost gave me a heart attack to use.  I was determined to use it on this layout though.  The colors were amazing with the picture.  I have had the paper in my stash for over two years.  I think I was more scared to use it because I paid way too much money for it.  I paid over $2 for it and that was on sale!  However, no I wish I would have bought a couple more.

My other hoarded items this week are the yellow shimmer cardstock and the hello flap stapled onto the picture.  I had about 5 sheets of the cardstock originally, however I was down to the one sheet that was in my scrap stash.  I already used about 4" of the bottom of it.  The color just matched perfectly to the flower paper.  The hello flap has been in my stash for a little over a year.  I wish I would have bought 20 of those.  It is just the perfect accent for this layout.
