Happy Tuesday! Today I wanted to share a layout I created with this weeks case file #93 at CSI. This week there is a sketch to go along with the case file.
This week I used a picture of my sister when she was 3 years old. I have always loved this picture of her. It is one of those pictures that seem to tell a story by itself. The truth is this was a picture my dad snapped of her while we were driving some place in Texas. My grandpa and grandma were in the front seat and she was suppose to be sitting down in the back.
Here is how I solved the case.
Evidence: Circles (inspired by propellers), strips, string
Testimony: I went to Goodreads.com and found a lot of books named Remember When. I used it for my title and then journaled on the back of my layout in a list format with random thoughts about my sister and I as kids.
Remember When...
-a tough decision was which Barbie we were going to play with
-someone read a story to us every night and we looked forward to it
-we giggled out of pure joy and excitement of the little things
-we were innocent and not jaded by real life
-we ate ice cream and didn't worry about calories
-it was fun to be out on the open road
-our parents were our world
-it was just the two of us girls
I love you my best friend, my beautiful baby sister, always and forever.
