TIME FLIES....

I can't believe Jalyn is already 6 weeks old! There has been so much going on. My sister was here a couple of weeks ago. She melted of course when she saw her little niece. She may have a hard outer shell, but she is really a big softy at heart. :)

She helped me go to the grocery store which was much needed. Then cooked for us, a couple of times during the week. One night we had homemade chicken and dumplings. Yes, I know you are jealous right now. She also helped me take some really good pictures of Jalyn with her "professional" camera. They turned out so wonderful. I can't pick a favorite.

John's parents were here last week. Jalyn made it through her first rite of passage in the Barnes family; Momma B gave her a nickname... Jay Bird. It may change as she gets older according to Momma B but for now she is running with it.

Though we weren't able to get out much while they were here. We did have a home cooked meal everyday. Unfortunately, we are running out of people to spoil us with home cooked meals. The best thing of all is I got some much needed sleep as did John, since he had pneumonia while they were here. It was nice to just watch movies, play cards, and just hang out with Momma B and Papa J.
