Merry Christmas, Baba!

Normally, John and I don't buy each other Christmas gifts. In fact, the last time we bought each other Christmas gifts was the year before we got married. That is when I got Peanut, the best dog in the whole wide world! I got him a Playstation 2. (Don't feel bad. We usually go all out for birthdays. We enjoy buying Christmas gifts for everyone else so we just generally leave ourselves out of the mix.) This year, though I decided to surprise him with a Christmas gift. I had a fantastic idea for once also.

The only part that sucked was I was really sick! I had stomach flu the two days before and was still not feeling the greatest. But, I didn't care; I was going even if I had to take an airplane puke bag!

My mom and dad took care of Jalyn for us so that we could go. Which I know they loved spending the time with her.

Where was our destination to you might ask? Dave Koz and Friends a Jazz Christmas Concert. For those of you who don't know who Dave is you can look here.

The concert was at Universal City in Los Angeles. I wish that I had been feeling better so we could stay and hang out afterward. It is a really cool place. The trip from my parents house is about an hour. We were really lucky and did not hit any traffic on the way. My dad let us borrow his new Mercedes to make the drive into the city. I have decide I must own one someday! I have never driven anything that smooth before.

The concert was amazing! I like Jazz but I am not the die-hard fan my hubby is. But, it was definitely a night to remember. John has decided it needs to part of our yearly traditions to see him in concert every Christmas. We will see...

Below are the few pics that I took. They aren't the best but they will have to do!

Love you, Baba!! (Also, thank you for my Ipod touch. I love it!)
