Double Visitors, Oh my!

This is a little belated but we had two different sets of visitors about a month ago.

First, the Tschida Family came to visit us here in DC.  They spent two fun packed days here with us.  The first day we went to the Capitol building and the Air and Space Museum.  I'm not sure who had more fun the kiddos or the adults.

Acting like a pro riding the Metro- no hands...

Liam taking it all in...

Running on the National Mall...Jay never did catch him. He is one fast little guy.

Playing nice together...

We accomplished our goal.  Two tired, passed out kiddos!

The next day we took it easy.  We went to Georgetown and got cupcakes.  Then we went and walked around the campus.  It was fun to see a different type of campus.  Andy went into the library to use the bathroom.  He came out and said, the library is packed with students studying at 4pm on a Friday.  He said that would not be happening at IU at all.

It was great to see them and we will have to do it again soon!  The next day John, Jay and I took off for Alexandria to go see Angie.  Angie and John have been friends since college.  She was in town visiting some friends so we met her for lunch and then walked around Alexandria some.  Jay has a new obsession with birds and Angie was happy to watch them with her.   It was a short visit but fun times were had by all.
