{Scrappy Goodness} So Proud Layout

Today I'm guest designing over at The Memory Nest.  If you haven't visited Leslie's blog go check it out.  She as some amazing ideas and a fabulous shop.

This week she is having a color challenge on her blog.  I really love color challenges because it is a different way to think about your pictures and scrapbooking.  When I saw the colors I immediately thought of legos.  I take a lot of pictures of Jalyn playing legos and her creations when she is done.  I thought it would be a cute layout.  Leslie also posted a sketch challenge from Page Maps last week.  I saw the sketch and thought it would be perfect for this layout.

I managed to use everything from my stash this week.  My husband likes this because it means I didn't go shopping. This means smiles from him and frowns from me because let's face it I like to scrappy shop.

Anyways on with my layout.  Pretty simple layout for me.  I tend to have a lot of 'stuff' on my layouts.  I showed the finished result to Jalyn.  She was so excited.  She asked me if it was going in my 'book'.  I said of course it is.  She said oh mommy thank you, I just love that.  Heart my girl!
