{Scrappy Goodness} Calm

Hello and Welcome!  Today the Design Team for The Memory Nest is sharing layouts using Teresa Collins Tell Your Story Line.  I really loved working with this line.  It is really beautiful and the colors are gorgeous.

I did have some trouble finding pictures that I liked with it though.  As I was going back through my photos I found this photo of my mom and Jalyn.  It turned out to be the perfect photo.  I actually really loved the grey and white side of the large flower patterned paper better than the multi-colored side.  I thought it would make for a great base.  I also knew I wanted to keep the layout simple and let the papers sort of speak for themselves since they are so beautiful.

For the love definition journaling block, I cut it out of the back side of one of the papers.

I really just love butterflies and thought they were the perfect addition to the layout along with the little pearls.  

When I was done with the layout a took a couple of the scraps and created this little card.  It is such a great line of paper.
