{Scrappy Goodness} Snapshots

Hello!  Hope everyone had a good memorial weekend. Today, I'm sharing a layout I did for The Memory Nest's Color Challenge.  I also decided to use a picture of my youngest daughter Jaleesa since it is her birthday today.  I will be doing another post about that later in the week. 

Ok, on with my layout.  In case I have ever forgotten to mention it before.  I LOVE color challenges.  I think it has to do with my interior design background.  It takes me back to the days when I had to but together finish boards.

I loved this month color combo.  When I saw it I knew I had to use My Mind's Eye Collectable Notable Line.   This line fit perfectly for the challenge.

I decided to try something a little new for me for this challenge.  I have had a few mists sitting in my stash for a while now and have not been brave enough to try them yet.  I thought this would be the perfect time to try one since the colors fit into the challenge perfectly.

I'm going to tell you now for some reason my pictures are not showing off the colors of this line well enough.  I was having a hard time photographing my layout this time around.  The colors are definitely not as muted as the look in the pictures.
